'Full disclosure of gov't deals to be observed; passage of FOI bill urgent' --- Robredo
If she wins the presidency come May, aspiring president Vice President Leni Robredo will require the full disclosure of all government transactions even without a law.

Robredo said during the KBP Presidential Candidates Forum on Friday, Feb. 4., that she will come up with an executive order demanding all government agencies to comply on the full disclosure.
"Kasi kahit wala pang batas puwede akong gumawa ng Executive Order para meron nang ganoon na (Even without a law, I can make an Executive order to) demand from all government offices," the Vice President said.
The presidential aspirant stressed that government transactions must be made public without the need to request.
"Yun talaga yung pinaka-essence sa full disclosure. Mas maganda kung may batas dahil kahit hindi na ako Pangulo, tuloy-tuloy, institutionalized yung requirement na yun (That's the very essence of full disclosure. It would be better if there is a law so that even if I am not the President, it will continue, that requirement will be institutionalized)," Robredo said.
"Pero habang wala pang batas ay maggagawa na tayo ng (But while there is no law for it, we wil make an) executive order the same with FOI," Robredo added.
She noted that she will certify as urgent the passage of Freedom of Information (FOI) Bill if she wins the election.
