4 drug suspects nabbed in Pampanga drug bust

Anti-narcotics authorities arrested four drug suspects who allegedly yielded P81,600 worth of crystal meth or "shabu" during a buy-bust operation in Mabalacat City, Pampanga on Thursday, Feb. 3.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Pampanga Office identified the suspects as Luisito Maristela, 35; Eduard Naca, 39; Mark Jay Sanchez Rodriguez, 39; and Tyron Dizon Cunanan, 26.

According to PDEA, the operation was carried out after they received information about the occurence of an alleged drug den in the area.

The PDEA Pampanga Office reported that the operation led to the confiscation of six pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 12 grams of shabu, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked money.

The suspects face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or “The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.’’

The operation was carried out by the PDEA Pampanga Office and the local police.
