Valenzuela City to administer COVID-19 booster shots to pregnant women, breastfeeding moms

The Valenzuela City government will administer COVID-19 booster shots to pregnant women and breastfeeding moms, the city government said on Thursday, Feb. 3.

The booster shot is recommended for women who are in the second trimester of their pregnancy.

Pregnant women who are in their first trimester will be allowed to get the booster shots if they are at high-risk for COVID-19 or those who have medical clearance issued by their doctor.

The booster dose will be also given to those who are fully vaccinated three months before or two months after their Janssen primary vaccination.
