Robredo gains more public support; ‘LeniWalangAatrasan’ trends on Twitter after DZRH interview


The hashtag #LeniWalangAatrasan” topped Philippine trends on Twitter on Wednesday night, Feb. 2 , shortly after presidential aspirant Vice President Leni Robredo participated in another presidential interview for the May 2022 polls.

Robredo was the last presidential aspirant who was interviewed by panelists during DZRH’s “Bakit Ikaw? The Presidential Job interview”, where she was asked to explain her vision and plans should she be elected to the country’s highest post.

Netizens took to Twitter to express their impression towards Robredo with the hashtag #LeniWalangAatrasan that became the country’s top trending topic as it gathered more than 66,000 tweets as of Thursday morning.

"Leni entered the tiger's den this afternoon. They forgot she's a Lioness," said user @dclnviv_.

“The DZRH interview is live. VP Leni is getting better and better in forums and interviews after stints with Boy Abunda, Jessica Soho,” another said.

"She’s very detailed and has Consistent answers to all the questions thrown at her!" tweeted @JFabGeek.

During the DZRH presidential interview, actor Jake Ejercito said he successfully converted three people to shift support to Robredo.

“Just converted 3 folks to become kakampinks! It’s not impossible and surprisingly not even that difficult when you’re patient and more importantly, are armed with facts. Laban lang. Leni lang,” said Ejercito.

Some netizens also shared that some of their relatives have shifted allegiance from other prexy bets to Robredo after presenting her clear and concrete plans for the country.

“So happy to know that I have two converted Santo world friends on the side of Leni today. Salamat Panginoon sa dulot mong kaliwanagan! Tunay ngang mas radikal ang magmahal,” @justimbaste said.

“Good talaga ang morning kasi Leni na ngayon yung ibang pamilya kong solid bbm noon after ko pinapanuod sa kanila yung presidential interview,” another user tweeted.

“Good news though, saw one fb friend na diehard BBM dati now converted to Kakampink. Defending Leni na rin,” @itsgigianna revealed on Twitter.

Netizens also congratulated Robredo for showing up for the interview despite earlier conflict in schedule.
