Park Bo Gum gets barber license in military service

Yes, you read it right.

Korean actor Park Bo Gum, who has been in the military (particularly in the navy) as part of the citizen requirements, has a barber license exam.

Since he left for this post last Aug. 31, 2020, he has done a lot, including passing the National Technical Qualification Examination last December to be a barber, Soompi reports. A naval sergeant in Gyeryongdae, South Chungcheong province, Park Bo Gum has always wanted to be a skilled technician and wasted no time in preparing for this particular exam.

“The military encourages soldiers to obtain certificates that can be used for self-development or after discharging from the military, and preparing systems and conditions for this. In addition to Sergeant Park, many soldiers are obtaining certificates in the military," the source tells Soompi.

Park Bo Gum will be discharged on April 30, 2022, but might be released earlier since he didn't file for vacation leaves due to COVID-19 outbreak.
