Actress Bettina Carlos has suffered a miscarriage.
The 34-year-old star revealed the news herself, writing: "We were pregnant and then no more."
Bettina, who tied the knot with Mikki Eduardo in 2020, then sent a heartwarming message to all the mothers who have lost their children before they could even hold them, feel them, see them in the flesh or ultrasound.
"May you too find peace in this: God’s purposes for the lives of our unborn children were fully fulfilled, however long or short they were IN us. Their lives did not go to waste," she said.
"And in the same way, YOU, if you are still breathing that means God’s purpose for you is not yet fulfilled-hence your very life and every breath," she added.
She is still grateful.
"Lord, You were so gracious in giving to us, and You are still good even in taking away. Thank you for the fresh hope and new joy You gave us, even for a very short while. Thank you for the assurance that one day, in heaven, we will see and be with our child. Thank you for what You give when You take away. What we gain from this loss. (heart emoji)."

Many netizens quickly extended their messages.
TV host Iya Villania even commented: "Aww betts... will keep you guys in my prayers. In His perfect time."
It was in December 2020 when Bettina and her non-showbiz partner tied the knot.
Prior, she has been raising her 10-year-old daughter Gummy as a single mom.
In another post, Bettina positively looked at the brighter side.
She even shared proof of why she should be thankful.
"What I have," she wrote as caption along with photos of her husband and daughter happily posing for the camera and Mikki's sweet love letter dated Feb. 2, 2022.
It read: "Hi Love, The things we went through the past few days were tough. I can't imagine how it was for you physically & emotionally. I admire your strength and how the Lord held you together. This journey was challenging, but there's no one else I'd rather walk through it. I love you. I'm here for you. Happy 14th month, love. M."
