Woman stabbed by live-in partner for refusing to have sex

GEN. NAKAR, Quezon -- A 25-year-old woman was stabbed by her live-in partner after she refused to have sex with him on Sunday night (Feb. 27) in Barangay Minahan Sur in this town.

The police report identified the victim as Caren Joy Garcia and the suspect as Dexter Adornado, 25, both residents of the said village.

At 9:30 p.m. a heated argument ensued between the couple after Garcia refused to have sex with Adornado.

Irked by Garcia's refusal, the suspect pulled out a bladed weapon and stabbed the victim in the back of her body.

The victim was rushed to Claro M. Recto Hospital in Infanta town.

The suspect fled and is now the subject of a hot pursuit operation.
