"We don't want to show our children that we're scared."
The world is watching and praying for the Ukraine-Russia conflict to dissipate. It's heartbreaking to see Ukrainians fight for their country, more so when we see families and children being affected.

Over the weekend, news of people seeking shelter from aerial bombs in the subway station (as makeshift bomb shelters) in Ukraine was just too much for us to read about. Watching it on TikTok was even worse. LA Times shared a video of how it's like.
Now This also shared a video interview by CNN of a mother brought her two children with her and brought a ziplock full of snacks and water to tide them in. They have been in the subway since 5:00 a.m. and have been in the subway for less than three hours and revealed that they will most probably spending the night there.
When asked how she felt about the whole scenario, she answers, "We don't want to show (the children) that we're scared."
