Presidential aspirant Vice President Leni Robredo’s strong showing, backed by years of knowledge and experience, during last Sunday’s CNN Philippines Presidential Debate didn’t go unnoticed by her fellow politicians, celebrities, and netizens.

On Twitter, they expressed their admiration of Robredo for standing out and being prepared among the nine candidates who attended the debate.
Sorsogon Governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero shared Robredo was “humble” yet “confident” when she answered the questions before a live audience by CNN’s hosts and television journalists Pia Hontiveros and Pinky Webb.
“Re: #cnnpresidentialdebate2022 All the candidates did very well but Sec. Abella, Sen. Lacson, & VP Leni stood out! Sec. Abella & Sen. Lacson showed their vast experience & VP Leni was very ‘presidentiable,’ full of substance, to the point & humble yet confident! Kudos to all!” he tweeted shortly after the debate.
Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV was one of the many whose attention was also caught by Robredo’s impressive performance during the presidential debate.
“Tapos na, may nanalo na (It’s over, there’s a winner! Congrats, my President Leni! #IpanaloNa10To #10RobredoPresident #CNNPHPresidentialDebate,” he wrote.
The Vice President attended the debate, with former presidential spokesman Ernesto Abella, labor leader Ka Leody de Guzman, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, former Defense chief Norberto Gonzales, Senator Panfilo Lacson, businessman Faisal Mangondato, Dr. Jose Montemayor Jr., and Senator Manny Pacquiao.
Noticeably absent due to the empty podium on stage with his name on it was former Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

Celebrities and netizens alike agreed that Robredo was the most prepared among the other presidential bets.
“Great job at the Presidential Debate, Ma’am Leni! That’s MY PRESIDENT!!!” Megastar Sharon Cuneta, wife of Robredo’s running mate Senator Kiko Pangilinan, said in a Facebook post.
“VP Leni looks Presidential. Wow," singer Sam Concepcion tweeted.
They were also impressed by Robredo's clear and factual answers on various issues, showing her readiness to lead the country as its next leader.
"Malinaw ang resulta (The result is clear). VP Leni is the best and most qualified presidential candidate," @bluebendystraw tweeted.
"Wala man (No) buckle or hindi man nagstutter si VP Leni sa pagsagot (VP Leni did not even stutter). She came prepared and unbothered! Chill kung (if) chill. Barda kung barda. Patol kung patol sa mga tanong. Ito ang dapat mamuno sa Pilipinas (She would take on the questions no matter what. She should lead the Philippines)!" @rdny_light said.
During the debate, Robredo enumerated her programs during the pandemic, like free test kits, dormitories, shuttle service and PPE sets for frontliners, community learning hubs, job-hunting platforms, free teleconsult services, and drive-thru vaccination, among others.

For the last three consecutive years, the Office of the Vice President (OVP) has received the highest Commission on Audit (COA) rating.
Actresses Agot Isidro and Nikki Valdez, for their part, backed up Robredo’s claim by posting receipts of the Vice President’s programs during the pandemic.
"RESIBO ng mga nagawa ni @lenirobredo noong pandemya," Valdez tweeted.
“Koronahan na! Ibigay na ang trophy! Bigyan na ng jacket! (Crown her! Giver her a trophy! Give her a jacket!) And the winner is... #10RobredoForPresident,” Isidro posted.
