Netflix's 'Squid Game' wins 3 awards at 28th SAG ceremony
Netflix’s global Korean hit series “Squid Game” won three awards at the 28th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards held on Feb. 27 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.
Korean actor Lee Jung-jae won his first ever SAG award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series, edging out Brian Cox of “Succession,” Billy Crudup of “The Morning Show,” Kieran Culkin of “Succession” and Jeremy Strong of “Succession.”

Korean actress Jung Ho-yeon took home the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series against Jennifer Aniston of “The Morning Show,” Elizabeth Moss of “The Handmaid’s Tale,” Sarah Snook of “Succession” and Reese Witherspoon of “The Morning Show.”
“Squid Game” also won the Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series, the first award to be handed out at the ceremony.
The winners of the award are “Squid Game” stunt ensemble members Choi Junseok, Choi Kwang-rak, Chung Seong Ho, Gwon Yoojun, Hong Eui-jung, Hong Kwang-seok, Hwang Yu-hyun, Jung Taek-ho, Kim Cha-i, Kim Seung-pil, Kim Won-jin, Lee Dong-min, Lee Gwang-ho, Lee Hak-ryul, Lee Sang-ha, Lim Seung Muk, Lim Tae Hoon, Oh Taeseung, Park Young Sick, Shim Sang-min and Tak Hwan-ui.
Other nominees in the category were "Cobra Kai," "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier," "Loki" and "Mare of Easttown."
"Squid Game" was also nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. The award went to “Succession.”
“Squid Game” became Netflix’s biggest TV show with 1.65 billion hours viewed in the first 28 days on the platform.
