Navotas LGU announces free anti-rabies vaccination schedule

The Navotas City government on Monday, Feb. 28, announced the free anti-rabies vaccination schedule for cats and dogs in the 18 barangays in the city for the months of March and April.

The activity will be conducted by the City Agriculture Office in different locations in every barangay which will start at the Barangay Hall of Tanza 2 on Tuesday, March 1, and at Barangay Tanza 1 Hall on March 2.

For Barangay NBBS Dagat-Dagatan, the vaccinations will be at Block 28 and 29, Phase 2 for Area 1 on March 7, and at Blk. 34 Plaza in Area 2 on March 8.

The pet vaccinations will also be held in Brgy. NBBS Kaunlaran Hall from March 9-14; Catleya Street, Brgy. NBBS Proper on March 15; Linchanco Covered Court, Brgy. NBBN on March 17; and on Luna St., Brgy. Balungkasi on March 21.

The City Agriculture Office will also conduct the activity for Barangay San Roque in Daang Barko on March 22, and at the Kapalaran Covered Court on March 23.

They will return to Brgy. NBBS Proper to vaccinate the pets in Sitio Puting Bato on March 26, and visit the Barangay Daanghari Hall on March 28.

Owners in Brgy. San Jose can bring their cats and dogs to Bagong Silang Street on March 29 and to the barangay hall on March. 30 for the anti-rabies shots.

For the month of April, the vaccinations will be held in the barangay halls of Sipac-Almacen (April 4), Tangos North (April 6) and South (April 18), SRV (April 19), Bagumbayan South (April 20) and North (April 25).

There will also be vaccinations in the basketball courts of Brgy. Navotas East on April 5 and Davila St., Brgy. Navotas West on April 26.

The local government said the pets should be healthy and at least three months old to get the jabs.

It added that owners must be Navotas City residents and they can visit their respective barangay halls to register their pets for the anti-rabies vaccination.
