Father, son killed in Negros town road mishap

BACOLOD CITY - A father and his son were died in a road accident in Barangay Tortosa, Manapla, Negros Occidental on Sunday, Feb. 27.

The victims were identified as Francisco Pangantihon, 51; and his son Francis, 23, a Criminology student.

Maj. Jaynick Bermudez, town police chief, said the victims were on their way home when Francis’s motorcycle hit the rear part of a wingvan truck that was parked at the roadside.

Bermudez said the area is not well-lighted.

Both victims were declared dead on arrival at a hospital.
