The body of a newborn baby boy was found floating on Pasig River in Sta. Mesa, Manila on Monday, Feb. 28.
The baby was around eight to nine months, according to the police.
A barangay tanod of Brgy. 623 saw the infant under the Bacood bridge at around 7 a.m. on Monday.
According to Lt. Adonis Aguila, chief of Manila Police District (MPD) - Homicide section, Detective Zoilo Nazario reported that the baby was possibly thrown into the river, The baby’s umbilical cord was still attached to its body.
The body was brought to Cruz Funeral.
