MSU-IIT named top PH university in global scientific index

The Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) named toped Philippine university in the 2022 Alper-Doger Scientific Index, which ranks higher education institutions based on the scientific performance and productivity of their scientists.

MSU-IIT ranked 276th in Asia and 1,171st in the world.

Meanwhile, 39 scientists from the University placed in the ranking system. Professor Jan Mickelle Maratas led the scientists from MSU-IIT and ranked first in the country.

The University of the Philippines and De La Salle University were named second and third best Philippine universities, according to the 2022 Alper-Doger Scientific Index.

Based on Google Scholar's total h-index scores, the ranking system lists all academicians who are in the top 10,000 in the world and top 100,000 in university rankings.
