LOOK: DLSU lights up in blue, yellow in solidarity with Ukraine

The De La Salle University (DLSU) displayed the yellow and blue colors on Saturday night, Feb. 26, in an act of solidarity with Ukraine.

Amid the growing fears of a Russian invasion, the St. La Salle Hall of DLSU lit up in the colors of the Ukranian flag to express their sympathy for the people of Ukraine.

"The Lasallian community is one with the world in prayer for the safety of its people and for the immediate resolution of the political conflict," DLSU wrote on Facebook.

On Thursday, Feb. 24, Russia executed strategic missile strikes across Ukraine, stirring panic among its citizens and provoking widespread condemnation from various countries.

Acting President Spokesperson Karlo Nograles earlier assured that repatriation efforts are now underway for Filipinos in Ukraine.
