CAVITE CITY – A fire broke out in Barangay 10A Aplayang Munti, burning 150 houses early morning on Sunday (Feb. 27).

Cavite City Fire Station told the Manila Bulletin that the blaze was reported at 4:38 a.m. and was escalated to the third alarm by 4:48 a.m.
The fire was under control by 6:24 a.m. and fire out was declared by 6:35 a.m.
During a Facebook live stream at the site, Vice Mayor Denver Chua said that most houses in the area are made of light materials.
No casualties were reported.

On Feb. 12, 700 families were affected by a massive fire that engulfed homes in four barangays in the city.
The local government unit (LGU) has appropriated P21 million to provide P30,000 cash aid to each family affected by the fire.
