Coach Duckeyy stays defiant despite Bren's rough start: 'Not the end of the world'
Bren Esport’s head coach Francis “Duckeyy” Glindro offered words for encouragement for his ward following the rough start that saw them drop their first three games in 2-0 sweeps.

Speaking in the team’s press conference after Bren’s 2-0 loss to Onic, Coach Duckeyy admitted that the team’s morale was low right now but he expressed his confidence that his rookie-laden team will be able to overcome the slump.
“Don’t lose hope. The main point that I want to raise is that it’s not the end of the world, as long as there’s another series, tomorrow, next week, next month next year is another reason for you guys to fight and move forward,” said Duckeyy.
“I want you guys to be very very strong, we’ll fix whatever problems we are having right now, I’m pretty sure that we’ll come out stronger,” he added.
Duckeyy also stressed the importance of understanding the rookies who are still adjusting to the competition in the MPL.
“What we need is more like understanding how they’re feeling. These are rookies despite na ang dami na nila experience s amateur tournaments, MPL is MPL, it’s a totally different kind of pressure,” he added.
All is not lost fro Bren , however, as despite the lost, Duckeyy was pleased with the team’s performance noting that he is seeing a glimmer of hope for the squad
“I’m still trying to find yung sweet spot on how to approach things like fixing their mindset, but for now I’m seeing some glimmer of hope,” he added.
Bren is set to play Nexplay Evos on Sunday and Duckeyy is hoping to cap the grueling three-game schedule in Week 2 on a winning note.
“We’ll make adjustments for sure, starting tomorrow, just to relieve off some pressure from the rest of the team and of course, breathe of fresh air and some new insights from the new players as well.”
