Vice Ganda surprises two strangers with shopping spree

Two bank employees got the biggest surprise of their lives when Ace comedian Vice Ganda treated them to a shopping spree recently.

In his latest vlog entitled "Surprise Shopping for Strangers," Vice Ganda randomly invited Juvy and Jewel who were walking down the streets to a shopping galore at a branded store in the city.

This is the second time that Vice Ganda treated strangers to a shopping spree following requests from his fans.

"May mga requests na sana raw makasama nila magshopping si Meme or maka-experience kami ng shopping. Marami na ang hindi nakakapag-shopping dahil sa pandemya. Hindi na ito ang priority nila and they have more important things to do. Yung wokring class dati may shopping pa kahit papaano pero marami na ang hindi na hindi ginagawa yun dahil sa pandemic," said Vice Ganda.

So Vice Ganda went out of his way to find two strangers who have the spark and smiling. "Lahat deserving na makakuha ng lambing at tulong. So let's go. Sino kaya ang pinagpala sa araw na ito? Sino kaya ang mararamdaman ko ng spark? Yung naka smile yun ang nag a-attract ng biyaya at possibilities. So hanap tayo ng naka-smile na babae or lalaki. Basta naka smile."

Vice Ganda finally found Jewel and Juvy, employees of BDO, who were on their way home. He introduced his purpose to the strangers. When the two women accepted his invitation, they submitted themselves to swab tests. The results were negative.

The "It's Showtime" host took them to a designer's store where they shopped for clothes, slip-ons, bags and bottles of perfume. They also bought toys for kids in another store. Vice Ganda spent over P65,000 for the items.

Juvy and jewel were so thankful for the blessings. Vice Ganda said enjoyed shopping for them.
