'Squid Game' star Lee Jung-jae signs up with CAA, attends Milan Fashion Week
Korean actor and Netflix’s “Squid Game” star Lee Jung-jae has joined one of the biggest entertainment agencies in the US.
On Feb. 26, his Korean agency Artist Company announced that the 49-year-old star has signed a contract with Creative Artists Agency (CAA).
According to Artist Company, Lee Jung-jae plans to work with CAA not only as an actor but also as a producer and director.

"Based on CAA's global network, Lee Jung-jae will be more active in the global market including the United States,” said Artist Company.
Lee Jung-jae achieved global popularity through “Squid Game,” which became Netflix’s biggest show with 1.65 billion hours viewed in its first 28 days on the streaming platform.
He joins “Squid Game” co-star Jung Ho-yeon at CAA. Last November, CAA announced that it signed up the actress and model.
Meanwhile, Lee Jung-jae attended the Milan Fashion Week in Italy before going to the US for the 28th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards ceremony.
Lee Jung-jae posted a photo on Instagram with actor Jared Leto taken during the Gucci fashion show.
“Lee Jung-jae attended Milan Fashion Week.His fashion sense is perfect as a ‘World Class’ actor,” posted Artist Company on Instagram along with another photo of Lee Jung-jae.
The SAG Awards will be held on Feb. 27 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.
Lee Jung-jae is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series at the SAG Awards. Other nominees in the category are Brian Cox of “Succession,” Billy Crudup of “The Morning Show,” Kieran Culkin of “Succession” and Jeremy Strong of “Succession.”
He and co-stars Jung Ho-yeon, Park Hae-soo, Kim Joo-ryoung and Anupam Tripathi and director Hwang Dong-hyuk will be attending the SAG Awards, according to Korean media.
“Squid Game” is also nominated in three other categories: Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series and Jung Ho-yeon for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series.
