FAMOUS: Dimples Romana preps new teleserye

Kapamilya star Dimples Romana has revealed that she is set to start a new teleserye for ABS-CBN after her two-week stay in the US, where she took up a crash course on marketing.
“Panay na nga ang tawag ng manager ko and lagi pinapaalala sa akin na kailangan ko umuwi after two weeks dahil may trabaho na naghihintay. It's a teleserye and hintayin natin ang magagandang details malalaman nyo rin yan,” said Dimples at the launch of her new endorsement for Sante Barley Max recently.
Dimples said she decided to take up marketing for future knowledge.
“Ito yung talagang nakakatulong sa akin lalo na kapag may bago ako papasukin na business, sa endorsements ko gaya nito para makakatulong din ako sa kanila," she said.
Dimples is a regular cast of the ongoing Kapamilya primetime teleserye “Viral Scandal.”
Director Cathy Garcia Molina admitted that if it were not for the pandemic, her plans of migrating to New Zealand would have pushed through already.
“Actually my children especially my daughter still wants to go to New Zealand. But because of the pandemic nagkaroon din ng avenue for a new company na na-put up ko with my friends na Nickl Entertainment and so far marami kaming natutulungang tao via this new company. So parang na-push back ng konti yung paglipad. Pero nandun pa rin yung kailangan naming umalis. Kailangan kong pagbigyan yung anak ko. Panay lang talaga ang katok ng kuwento. Siguro talaga pag isa kang mangenguwento, parang ang hirap umalis. Pag may magandang kuwento napapalingon ako pabalik (laughs),” she revealed.
The "My Papa Pi" director said she does not discount the possibility of shooting a film in New Zealand with a Filipino cast, even after she moves there.
“Hindi malayong mangyari. Actually napag-isipan na. Kasi ang sabi ng Star Cinema sa akin before, kung nandun ako sila ang susunod,” she added.
Having announced her plan to retire as a director as early as 2018, Direk Cathy told her followers she wanted more time for her family.
“I just want to give time to my kids. I have served 25 years of my life sa show business. It’s time to give it to my children,” she said.
