Action PH stunned Group A top seed Oasis Gaming with a 2-0 sweep to advance to the upper bracket finals of the VCT 2022 Challengers PH on Friday, Feb. 25.

APH rode a scintillating performance in the first map of the series in its own pick in Icebox and never looked back from there to assure itself at least a top 3 finish in the tournament and the first ticket to the APAC Challengers next month.
APH, coming off a 2-1 victory over Zeal Esports in the first round of the upper bracket, looked confident in Icebox as Sirodeathyo on the Sova spearheaded the dominant 13-4 triumph of the team. He finished with 22 kills on 342 combat score as APH took control of the game right on the first half with an 8-4 lead.
APH cemented the first map win with a searing 5-0 tally after the switch to draw the first point of the series after the 13-4 Game 1 triumph

Riding the momentum of the Game 1 win, APH showed no let up as it kept Oasis Gaming at bay in its own map pick in Ascent.
APH trailed at the half, 5-7 but managed to power through it thanks to 5-0 start after the switch to take the driver seat, 10-7. Oasis retaliated and secured the next two rounds to inch closer but APH went with three straight rounds to finish off Oasis and drop its to a lower bracket match against Team Secret later in the day.
Sirodeathyo finished team high 24 kills on a 334 combat score as he prevailed in his shootout against Envy who finished with 27 kills to pace Oasis.

APH now awaits the winner of the match between Naos Esports and South Built Esports to be their opponents in the upper bracket finals.
