Paranaque City gov't constructs satellite office beside PITX

A five-story satellite office of the Paranaque City Hall is being constructed beside the Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) to bring services closer to the people, Mayor Edwin Olivarez announced Thursday.

Olivarez made the announcement during the inauguration of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) licensing office at PITX.

The mayor said the Pasay City Hall satellite will house the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO), Treasurer’s Office, and the Land Tax Division.

Olivarez said the satellite office can also accommodate the respective one-stop-shops of the national agencies such as the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Social Security and Services (SSS), and the Government Service and Insurance System (GSIS).

He said the management of PITX and the city government will hold a dialogue for the construction of a beach walk that would make access to the Paranaque City Hall satellite office easier.
