Bongbong leads in campaigns firm pres'l survey

Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. has emerged once again as the most preferred presidential candidate for the upcoming elections in a survey recently conducted by a campaigns management firm.

Publicus Asia's Pahayag National Election Tracker, which was conducted for the month of February, showed that 52.3 percent of its 1,500 total respondents nationwide chose Marcos Jr. as their president in the next six years.

Marcos Jr.'s rival, Vice President Leni Robredo, came next, with 22.3 percent of the total respondents voting for her.

Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso was the third choice after 8.9 percent of the respondents wanted him to become the next leader. His survey result percentage tied with the percentage of those who are still undecided.

Senator Ping Lacson got 3.3 percent; Senator Manny Pacquiao, 2,7; and labor leader Ka Leody de Guzman, 0.7

In Metro Manila, Robredo led over Marcos Jr. after garnering 38.9 percent of the total votes—a little short of Marcos Jr.'s 34.3.

Meanwhile, in other regional areas, Publicus Asia said Marcos Jr. was leading.
