It's so heartbreaking!
Garnering over two million views, 140,000 likes, 7,500 comments, and 7,000 shares, the two-day old TikTok video posted by 28-year-old businessman Paul Castillon has touched the hearts of many.
It's a video of their friend "Tony" — the netizens gave him that name in the comments section, and Castillon recorded the video while Tony was seated on one of the benches in church. It seems that there was a wedding going on, and Tony was dressed in suit. Recorded was his face in a pensive mood, with the caption "Di sinipot sa kasal. wew (She didn't show up. wow)," and the emotional song by Moira, "Paubaya."
Well, it got our attention as well, so we sent Castillon a message to ask how they are doing. Apparently, the whole scenario is a figment of Castillon's imagination—a product of teasing their overseas friend from Canada who is still single. He was looking at his friend, the groom, and his bride having their photos taken after the ceremony. "He is still looking for his 'forever,' kaya siguro nakatingin ng ganoon, baka gusto na ring magpakasal," laughs Castillon.
When asked why he did it on a whim, "It just popped out and I remembered Moira's song. i just edited the video in TikTok. It was never my intention to use it as a content. We were shocked when it hit a million views."

As for their friend who is the subject of everyone's heartache, "He was shocked of his unexpected fame. Natuwa lang naman siya at sinakyan nalang yung pag trend ng video niya (He just found it amusing and decided to ride with the trend)."
How about the many netizens who left comments? It's a heartbreaking video with some netizens invested already in his story. "We didn't say that the video was fake, because they already jumped into conclusion without knowing the real story about it."
