Is Steffi Aberasturi bidding pageantry adieu?

It looks like Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) 2021 2nd runner-up Steffi Aberasturi is retiring from pageantry.

Steffi made an announcement via Instagram, sharing her "2.22.22 BEYOND THE UNIVERSE" message to fans.

"Every end is a new beginning. As I close this chapter, looking forward to the bright unknown ahead, I am following my true desires with new goals and priorities. My heart has been telling me that I have the power to decide how this story will end. With this, I will boldly declare that this is not the one last Steff. Be it on top of a bridge, runway, on stage, or a church aisle, this will not be the final Steff either."

She also used the hashtag "#OneSteffAtATime."

Steffi expressed gratitude to supporters, noting how she has been blessed with immense love and support from a community of dreamers from day one.

She described her decision to not join MUPH2022 as "one of the most pivotal" in her life.

"I’ve come to realize that the honor to inspire, uplift, and touch people’s lives has been what I’ve been searching for all along. That alone is beyond the universe," she related.

Early this year, the 27-year-old model happily said “yes” to her boyfriend of eight years, Karl Arcenas, who asked for her hand in marriage.
