Palace congratulates new SC Associate Justice Kho
Malacañang on Wednesday, Feb. 23, congratulated lawyer Antonio T. Kho Jr. on his appointment as an associate justice of the Supreme Court.

"We wish Associate Justice Kho success in the Supreme Court," Cabinet secretary and acting presidential spokesperson Karlo Nograles said in a statement.
"We are confident that he will continue to dispense justice to every man, woman and child with integrity, impartiality and fairness," he added.
Nograles issued the statement shortly after President Duterte signed the appointment papers of Kho who retired as a Commission on Elections (Comelec) commissioner last Feb. 2.
Justice Kho took the post vacated by then Associate Justice Rosmari D. Carandang who retired last Jan. 9.
The SC has appointed Carandang as chancellor of the Philippine Judicial Academy (PhilJa), the judiciary’s education arm.
A native of Jolo in Sulu, Kho finished his law degree at the San Beda University Law School. He was 10th placer in the 1991 bar examinations.
He was a former undersecretary of the Department of Justice and law professor at the Arellano Law School, San Beda University, and De La Salle University College of Law.
