Malacañang has extended its condolences to the family of the late Tarlac 1st district Rep. Carlos “Charlie” Cojuangco.

"We express our deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Tarlac first district representative Carlos Charlie Cojuangco who passed away at the age of 58," Cabinet secretary and acting presidential spokesperson Karlo Nograles said in his virtual presser on Tuesday, Feb. 22.
"We join his loved ones in praying for his eternal repose," he added.
Cojuangco's wife, Czarina Maria “China” Jocson confirmed in a Facebook post on Tuesday morning the passing of the lawmaker.
Cojuangco was the youngest son of former Tarlac governor and Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC) leader, the late Eduardo 'Danding' Cojuangco.
In October last year, the congressman was driving in a circuit race when he suffered aneurysm in the brain and crashed his race car. He underwent surgery after the car crash.
