Security Bank Corporation’s investment arm, SB Capital Investment Corporation has received three deal accolades from Hong-Kong based financial magazine The Asset as well as several awards from other institutions.
SB Capital was received the “Best Local Currency Green Bond Award” for serving as co-lead underwriter for Energy Development Corporation’s P5 billion dual-tranche ASEAN green bond offering.

It also got the “Best IPO Award” for serving as domestic co-lead underwriter for Monde Nissin’s P48.6 billion initial public offering and the “Best REIT Award” for being a participating underwriter for RL Commercial REIT’s P23.5 billion offering.
Apart from The Asset, SB Capital received recognition at the 6th Investment House Association of the Philippines (IHAP) Awards for its participation as joint lead underwriter for AREIT Inc.’s P12.3 billion IPO, naming SB Capital’s participation as the “Deal of the Year” and “Best Equity Deal.”
It also gave the investment house the “Best Advisory Deal” award for acting as financial advisor to Alliedbankers Insurance Corporation in its acquisition of PNB General Insurers Co. Inc.

Leading financial capital markets magazine, Alpha Southeast Asia also recognized the investment house at the 2021 Alpha Southeast Asia Awards for its participation in the Bureau of Treasury’s US$1.59 billion retail dollar bond offering.
Alpha recognized SB Capital’s participation as joint issue manager as “Best Retail Dollar Bond Deal of the Year” and the “Best Sovereign Bond Deal of the Year.”
It recognized SB Capital’s participation as domestic co-lead underwriter for MREIT Inc’s US$305.8 million IPO as the “Best Equity Deal of the Year in the Philippines.”
