Pasig City distributes incentives to anti-illegal drugs police assets, personnel
The Pasig City local government distributed cash incentives to its police assets and deployed its Mobile Drug Testing Clinic (MDTC) to other barangays as part of its ramped up anti-illegal drugs program.
According to the local government unit (LGU), a total of 26 police assets each received P3,000, while police informants also received rewards of up to P8,000 based on the information gathered and presented in court.

It said that the cash incentives are the city's way of expressing their gratitude for their dedication and bravery in fighting illegal drugs in Pasig.
Meanwhile, Pasig's MDTC was deployed to Barangay Sagad for its 3-in-1 plus 1 (drug testing, vaccination, at Ayuda plus family planning) program.

It was launched on Jan. 27 as part of its community-based drug rehabilitation program.
The LGU said the MDTC will roam around Pasig's 30 barangays offering drug tests for persons who use drugs (PWUD).
The MDTC also serves as a mobile COVID-19 vaccination site and also facilitates the distribution of “ayuda” (financial aid) to Pasig residents.
Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto said the MDTC will also be equipped to perform human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) screening in the future.
The initiative was launched in collaboration with the Substance Abuse Office of Pasig (SATOP), the Anti-Drug Abuse Council of Pasig (ADCOP), and the Pasig City Health Department.
