LOOK: Newlyweds enjoy feast in fast food joint right after wedding

A sumptuous meal to celebrate a wonderful day

Robin San Felipe, 30, and Angelica Prudente, 30 recently got married. Both of them have known each other since 2010 while they were in college, and both moved to the USA after graduating from college, following their family who went ahead.

San Felipe proposed in Mt. Tibidabo in Barcelona, Spain in Sept. 10, 2021 and decided to get married on Feb. 2, 2022 at the city hall in San Francisco, California. "It’s just a civil ceremony. We’re still going to have a church ceremony for our families and closest friends to attend."

And where did they go after? To enjoy some comfort food in Jollibee. "It's such a special place for us even before we started dating. We hung out at Jollibee at least once a month either after a long day at work or after a workout to just talk about life: success, struggles, failures, memories, and relationships. Jollibee is where we checked all of the stages needed in our relationship: friends to best friends to being a couple to now being married. We also think our love story fits the Kwentong Jollibee narrative and it’s just cute to do it there." explains Prudente. "It just hits the feeling of home while living overseas."

They enjoyed two buckets of Chicken Joy, spaghetti, and palabok platters, peach magno pies, banana langka pies, and pineapple juice for their party of four which included the couple, their friend and witness Lyka, and their photographer Erwin Portilla.
