Just for laughs: Wife pranks husband for Valentine's Day

When showing how much you love includes making them laugh

To each their own, and for 31-year-old Hiedie Mamauag, it's all about making each other laugh. Married for 13 years with four children ages 11, seven, four, and one year and eight months, life can get really busy for the couple.

So when her husband brought their son out for a haircut, she took the chance to surprise him. "I cut colored paper (into heart-shaped ones) and scattered them on the floor—from the gate to the surprise." Little did he know that the surprise was a sink full of used plates for him to wash.

When her husband got home, he had a good laugh. "And he even washed them all, because I just finished cooking pancakes for the kids," adds Mamauag.

The couple did celebrate Valentine's Day at a hotel in Tagaytay with their children in tow. The couple spent time talking and drinking by the balcony until 2:00 a.m. "We made the most out of our quality time together even if we're always together, because we're both so busy running the business and taking care of the kids that we don't have enough time to ask how both of us have been doing."
