Netflix series to shoot in Iloilo City

ILOILO CITY—The Philippine remake of South Korean TV series "A Love to Kill" will be filmed on location in Iloilo City.

“Nalipay guid ako nga mapabugal naton ang ciudad sa bilog nga kalibutan paagi sa mini-series nga i-shoot diri mismo sa Ciudad sang Paghigugma! (I am very happy and proud that our city has been chosen as the location for a mini-series that will be shown worldwide),” said Mayor Jerry Treñas.

Studio Three Sixty executives met with the city mayor and Tourism Officer Junel Ann Divinagrcia recently.

“Ginpabugal ko guid ang makalain-lain nga landmarks, proyekto sang ciudad, mga manamit nga pagkaon, kag aton mga pinalangga nga Ilonggo (I am proud of our different landmarks, our projects, our delicious food, and our fellow Ilonggos),” said Treñas.

Directed by Lester Pimentel, the Philippine version of the Korean TV drama will star Ian Veneracion and Andrea Torres.

Treñas assured the film production that the Iloilo City government will fully support the project.
