Dagupan City mayor denies endorsing candidacy of Mayor Isko

DAGUPAN CITY -- Incumbent Mayor Brian Lim has not endorsed the presidential candidacy of Manila Mayor Isko Domagoso.

This was the reaction made by the City Information Office of Dagupan following reports that Mayor Isko Moreno won the support of the Dagupan Mayor.

“FAKE NEWS ang balitang inilabas ng ilang pahayagan na ang Mayor ng Dagupan City ay sumusuporta sa presidential candidacy ni Manila Mayor Isko Domagoso,” the Dagupan City PIO said.

The post noted that the incumbent Mayor of Dagupan City is Mayor Brian Lim and not the one mentioned in the story which was Belen Fernandez, the city's former mayor.

“Hindi rin po inindorso ni Mayor Lim si Mayor Isko sa pagka-pangulo,” the post added.

Netizens in Dagupan posted comments on the Dagupan City PIO's Facebook page indicating that they prefer the BBM-Sara tandem.
