The Commission on Elections (Comelec) said the printing of ballots for the May 2022 polls is on track.

Comelec Spokesperson James Jimenez said at present more than 17 million ballots have already printed at the National Printing Office (NPO) in Quezon City.
"The printing (of ballots) is going smoothly. We are nearing our peak printing capacity. When we reach that point, we may print more than one million ballots a day," he said during the Laging Handa briefing Monday, Feb. 21.
Jimenez also revealed that they've already started the delivery of election supplies and paraphernalia in different parts of the country.
Ballot printing started Jan. 20 with the manual ballots for Local Absentee Voting (LAV), followed by the manual ballots for overseas voting, and the automated election system ballot for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
The Comelec is targeting to finish the printing of all official ballots on April 21.
The poll body is set to print more than 67 million ballots for the May 2022 elections.
