Reel couple Paulo Avelino and Janine Gutierrez turned out to be part of the beach trip of sweethearts Cherry Pie Picache and Edu Manzano last month.

This after the group photo of "Marry, Marry You" stars taken during their island-hopping tour in Palawan surfaced online.

Netizens quickly claimed that the stars were on a "double date."

Some online users think that there's a brewing romance between Paulo and Janine.

They pointed out that the tie-dyed button-down shirt that Janine was wearing was the same as Paulo's outfit during their show's virtual press conference last November.

Their shippers also noticed how the 33-year-old actor was holding the right thigh of the 32-year-old actress.

Meanwhile, Paulo and Janine made their fans thrilled as they joined the "Kilig Match" fundraising virtual kuwentuhan last Feb. 18.

There, host Darla Sauler asked the love team how they celebrated the recent Valentine's Day.

Janine said she was doing a project with Lovi Poe. Paulo, meanwhile, hit the gym.

Did they give or receive any Valentine surprises that day?

"Meron, pero para tahimik lang ang buhay natin, huwag natin ipaalam sa buong Pilipinas," Paulo teased.

While Janine, without giving any details, simply answered: "Meron siyempre."

Recall that recently, Rayver Cruz has finally broken his silence about his split with Janine following so many speculations as to what actually caused the sudden breakup.

Cruz made it clear: “Kinaklaro ko po na there was no third party involved especially from my end.”

Rayver is now rumored to be making sweet music with Julia Anne San Jose.

Janine, on the other hand, is being romantically linked to Paulo.
