The Pasay City government will start the distribution of financial assistance to around 13, 390 elementary and high school students on Monday (Feb. 21).
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said each student will receive P4,000 cash aid covering the period of September to December 2021.
The distribution of the assistance was delayed due to the spike of COVID-19 Omicron variant.
Rubiano said students from the nine public elementary and high schools will be receiving their P4,000 cash starting Feb. 21 to 25.
The mayor said students from Sumulong Elementary School, Epifanio Elementary School, Philippine School for the Deaf, and Rafael Palma Elementary School will get their financial help on Feb. 22.
Meanwhile, the cash payout for students from Bernabe Elementary School, Pasay City National Science High School, Cuneta Elementary School, and Philippine National School for the Blind will be on Feb. 23.
She said the distribution of financial assistance to 2,500 students at the Maricaban Elementary School will be held for two days.
