Silliman U extends 'psychosocial processing operations' to help Odette-hit communities
Months after “Odette” (international name: Rai) ravaged the country, Silliman University (SU) continues its “psychosocial processing operations” to help typhoon-hit communities in various parts of the country.

“Student volunteers prepared dignity packs to be distributed during the Psychosocial Processing operations of the “SU typhoon Odette Initiative” which will start on Feb. 19, 2022,” said SU in an official statement on Thursday, Feb. 17.
According to SU, each pack contains hygiene products such as soap, detergent, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and menstrual pads – all of which were made possible through various donation drives.
The “SU typhoon Odette Initiative” is a collective effort of the SU Administration through its calamity response program, the SU church, the SU student government, faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends, the University disclosed.
