The Zamboanga local government has lifted its RT-PCR requirement for incoming travelers starting February 16, Wednesday.

An advisory from the Zamboanga local government said fully vaccinated travelers coming from places with the same or a lower alert level status need only to present their S-pass permit and vaccination card.
The papers must be presented upon entry at the Zamboanga International Airport, the local seaport, and land borders.
The advisory, however, said that fully vaccinated travelers coming from areas with a higher alert level must present a negative antigen test result from any DOH-accredited laboratory within 24 hours from the time of collection of specimen.
Unvaccinated travelers, meanwhile, must present a negative RT-PCR test result taken from their place of origin within 120 hours or five days from specimen collection.
Children below 11 years old traveling with fully-vaccinated parents do not need to submit negative antigen or RT-PCR test results.
Zamboanga City has retained its Alert Level 3 status from February 16 to 28 this year pursuant to NIATF Resolution 161-A.
