Why Xyriel Manabat's new post went viral

Former child star Xyriel Manabat has charmed fans anew.

She is now trending online, thanks to a photo she posted on social media.

In it, she is seen wearing a sexy low-cut black tank top.

It highlighted her new piercings.

These are dermals.

To those not in the know, unlike traditional piercings, dermals don’t have a separate entry and exit point.

"Achieving my 'naudlot' December 2021 bucket list," Xyriel wrote as caption to the snaps.

"Swipe Para masaksihan niyo kadaldalan ko. Thank u so much @da.tattoo sa pagtiyaga sa bunganga ko. love ko kayo!," she added.

The post was an instant hit. As of writing, it has been shared 38K times on Facebook along with 8K comments and 101K reactions.

However, some online users focused on Xyriel's breasts, leaving malicious remarks in the comments section.

Others defended the 18-year-old actress.

Two years ago, Xyriel also made headlines with fans offering her lewd comments.

She slammed the trolls, pointing out their remarks are not at all flattering.

"Sana po alam nila and aware po yung mga tao na sexual harassment is never okay," she said that time.

Xyriel rose to fame in 2009 after placing 3rd Runner-Up in the talent competition "Star Circle Quest: Search for the Next Kiddie Idol." Since then, she has played roles of child characters in teleseryes. She last appeared on television via "Wildflower" in 2017.
