Robin Padilla completes BBM-Sara Senate slate; find out who got cut

Senatorial aspirant and actor Robin Padilla has completed the Senate slate of presidential candidate Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. and his running mate Sara Duterte-Carpio for the upcoming May 2022 elections.

This came after Duterte-Carpio herself announced that Padilla would be their 12th senatorial bet during their proclamation rally in Ilocos Norte on late Wednesday night, Feb. 16.

Padilla's inclusion in the ticket means that senatorial bets former Palace spokesman Salvador Panelo and Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero, whose candidacies were personally supported by Duterte-Carpio, â€‹were cut from the line-up of the frontrunning BBM-Sara UniTeam.

Panelo's candidacy is backed by Duterte-Carpio's father, President Duterte; while Escudero has been supported by other presidential and vice presidential tandems.

Padilla--also known as Binoy--joined Davao City Mayor Duterte-Carpio during her "Mahalin Natin Ang Pilipinas Ride (MNPR)" in Sorsogon on Feb. 6.
