Kyline Alcantara on being cheated on: 'Really thankful for that experience'

It's rare hearing someone being thankful even after being betrayed.

And repeatedly so.

But that's exactly how Kyline Alcantara feels about her experience with a cheating ex-boyfriend.

She related in a vlog: "I had this experience na ilang beses sa akin nag-cheat 'yung tao na 'yun and then as a naive and young woman ilang beses ko siyang pinagbigyan..."

But why?

Kyline explained: "Because I had faith in that person and I thought that was one of my purposes in life, na babaguhin ko ‘tong tao na ‘to."

Eventually, she realized, "You cannot help a person who doesn’t want to get any help."

"It’ll all start from you, from within at hindi mo dapat siya ipush na magbago and it’s not my job," the actress-TV host added.

She doesn't hold any grudges against the guy whom she didn't identify.

"Kailangan ko lang talaga sigurong mapagdaanan 'yon and now I’m aware of that. I’m really, really thankful for that experience," she shared.

"Sabi ko nga tama na yung pagiging bitter kailangan na maging grateful sa buhay dahil mas marami pang mas malalaki."

Kyline is now happy with Mavy Legaspi.
