Jensen Gomez speaks about regrets and second chances

Jensen Gomez's Let Me In music video was released on Feb. 10. It's the third and final track on his EP Phases Vol. 3. According to Jensen, letting me in is comparable to finding out you're no longer welcome.

"Let Me In" is a song about someone who wishes to be allowed back in, praying it's not too late. "Let Me In" is a song about someone who wishes to be let back in, praying it's not too late. The song, though, does not conclude there. The song, though, isn’t just about pleading for a second chance. It's more than just a story of heartbreak and grief. It contains layers and depth, and what the song means it's completely up to the listener to determine and what it can symbolize to them, depending on personal situations.

"I didn't think I'd be able to write a song like Let Me In. The universe sometimes rewards you with a song like this when you open yourself up to such a journey," Jensen continued. "Let Me In is my favorite track from the EP."

Let Me In's appeal is emphasized by Jensen's excellent acting in the music video. In addition, Pau Benitez brings in her acting prowess, creating an undeniable chemistry with Jensen.. She has appeared in a number of independent films, including "Ang Babaeng Allergic sa WiFi" (2018), Liway (2018), Erik Matti's "A Guy and a Girl," and the On The Job series, as well as a number of local indie films. Both of them present a picture of a relationship struggling for its survival.

Jensen's vulnerable side is highlighted in the music video. His eyes are filled with sorrowful grief, that is all too transparent. With what appears to be a breakup and Jensen asking for a second chance in the music video, it feels like there's a lot more to it than what they convey.
