Just in time for the Valentines season, the brand’s marketing arm - Bigtime Studios will release its signature song - "Pares Tayo" performed by one of today’s rising singer-songwriter Steven Peregrina by Feb. 12, on its official YouTube channel. The song will be launched together with a short film with the same title, starring Kiray Celis, Stephan Estopia, Concon Felix, Arthem Basierto featuring Boy Bangus. The film will be a mix of comedy, romance and drama featuring a story that is gender-neutral.
The "Pares Tayo" movie will just be the start of the list of short films featuring Filipino stories in all walks of life that typical Pinoys can definitely relate to and enjoy.
In the past years, Pares Retiro, on top of the classic Filipino favorites being offered in its stores such as the silog (branded as Hugotsilog), Pares Mami, Bone Marrow and the likes, managed to launch and popularized some unique food dishes such as the world’s first Chicken Pares (crispy chicken with the signature classic lotong sauce) and the Pancit Pares (Filipino classic noodles topped with the savory beef pares meat).
