Jinggoy says his Senate comeback would be a 'victory' for Pinoy workers
Senatorial candidate Jinggoy Estrada has boldly stated to the public that his return to the Senate would equate to the "victory" of Filipino workers in the country and abroad.
He made the pronouncement Monday, Feb. 14 after earning the trust of more voters based on Pulse Asia’s Pulso ng Bayan survey. This, despite the plunder controversies that he has gone through in his political career.
“I hope this standing will be maintained until the real survey is conducted on May 9. Let me assure our country’s workforce, the unemployed and the underemployed, together with their family, they will ultimately be the true winners should I be granted the chance to return to the Senate,” Estrada, who served as a senator from 2004 to 2016, said in a statement.

Estrada, who is running under the ticket of survey frontrunners presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and vice presidential candidate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, climbed three notches higher in Pulse Asia’s January survey results when compared that of last December’s.
His name also made it to the survey's winners' circle; that is, had the elections been held at that time, he would've placed no.12.
A highlight of Estrada’s stint in the Senate was when he authored the Kasambahay Law, which focused on the welfare of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW).
