Local tourists from nearby towns flocked to Tanay, Rizal to visit its natural sceneries, campsites, and restaurants during the weekend prior to Valentine’s Day.
Located in the upland Barangays Cuyambay and Sampaloc in Tanay, the various camping sites and dining areas that also offer day tours and overnight accommodations from small tents that can occupy two persons; dome-shaped tents and nipa huts that can accommodate the whole family or a big group, are host to all age groups, especially during special occasions.

The municipal tourism office posted images and videos in its social media accounts of the various tourists' destinations in Tanay that can be reached by private vehicles and even public transportation.
Joicee Gapido of the office of Tanay Mayor Rex Manuel Tanjuatco said the so-called ‘sea of clouds’ can be best viewed and experienced from the town’s upland villages where camping sites abound.
Coffee shops and restaurants that offer various menus are also found in some of Tanay’s mountain barangays.
The Tanay Tourism Office said one of the camping areas such as The Apiary Mountain Camp and Farm, located at Sitio Maysawa in Barangay Cuyambay, offers a view of the mountains and hills that have clouds hovering above which is also called as the "sea of clouds".
The farm’s bee farm, a sunflower garden, aviary, and camping area that has dome-shaped tents are among the attractions in the campsite that uses solar energy to power its light sources.
