Action PH, now atop the Group A standings with a 3-0 record, pulled off a stunning reverse sweep against the Valorant Champions 2021 SEA representative Team Secret which is struggling to find its winning form at 0-3.

Team Secret looked like it finally found its groove when it took the series first blood after a 13-9 victory in APH’s map pick in Haven. After tying the first half where both teams scored six rounds apiece, TS turned it on in the second half on the attackers’ side, prevailing with a 7-3 tally to take the first point of the series.

Dispenser on the Killjoy led the way with 19 kills.

The first half of the second map in Fracture remained a tight contest with the two squads ending up tied at 6-all at the half. However, not even Jayvee “Dubstep” Paruigiran who had the debuting Neon pick on its hand could prevent a blistering second half rally from Action PH.

APH blanked TS as it took seven straight rounds to take the Game 2 13-6 equalizer and force the winner-take-all. Sirodeathyo starred with a game-high 23 kills on the Breach.

TS never recovered from that point as it seemed to be in total disarray at the start of the decider in Ascent. APH secured the first six rounds of the game to take a commanding 9-3 lead at the half.

Action showed no let up after the switch and only needed five games to dispose Team Secret, 13-4.

TS will start the second round of the double round-robin on Feb. 18 against Oasis Gaming which beat it in the first round, 2-1. APH meanwhile looks to keep its winning run going when it clashes against Bren Esports on Feb. 17.
