Piolo agonizes over heartbreak in new song 'Tawag Mo'

Piolo Pascual - 'Tawag Mo'

Actor-singer-producer Piolo Pascual conveys the tormenting pain of a broken heart in his latest music release, “Tawag Mo,” which has solo and duet versions launched simultaneously under Star Music.

Piolo collaborated with fellow Kapamilya artist, Asia’s Soul Supreme KZ Tandingan, for the song’s special duet rendition.

Released three days before Valentine’s Day, “Tawag Mo” goes through the relatable stages of heartbreak, from the desperate hoping to receive that ‘call’ for another chance, the excruciating period of hurting, and finally the healing phase.

It follows Piolo’s emotional ballad “Iiyak sa Ulan,” which came out in 2020. Ralph Castro composed “Tawag Mo,” which was arranged and mixed by Theo Martel, and produced by ABS-CBN Music creative director Jonathan Manalo.

Last month, Piolo made his grand comeback as one of the mainstays of ABS-CBN’s longest-running musical variety show “ASAP Natin ‘To.” He is also set to star in the Philippine adaptation of the hit Korean drama “Flower of Evil” with Lovi Poe this year.
