Operatives from the Southern Police District (SPD) and Muntinlupa police seized P3.4 million worth of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) and arrested three men and a woman in a buy-bust operation in Muntinlupa on Feb. 11.
According to SPD director Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg, the operation was conducted in Block 6, Phase 4 at Southville 3 housing project in Barangay Poblacion, Muntinlupa.

Arrested during the operation were Marco Anthony Panibe, 30, driver; Romnick Misloso, 22, vendor; Ernesto Landing Jr., 25, construction worker; and Dreyven Aubrey Vilasco, 21, saleslady.
Joint elements of the SPD’s Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), District Intelligence Division and District Mobile Force Battalion, and the Muntinlupa police’s DEU, SWAT Muntinlupa and personnel from Sub-station 6 confiscated five plastic bags containing about 508 grams of suspected shabu worth P3.45 million, four small plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, P1,000 buy-bust money and P4,000 boodle money.
The four suspects were arrested and brought to the SPD. The police will file charges against them for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
All the seized illegal drugs were turned over to the SPD Forensic Unit for chemical analysis.
"This notable accomplishment shows our full support in the campaign against illegal drugs. Let us continue our dedication and commitment in service in fighting the illegal drug menace in our country," said Macaraeg.
