Person close to #BinJin couple denies Son Ye-jin is pregnant

A person who is close to “Crash Landing on You” stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin denied that they are getting married because the latter is pregnant.

On Feb. 10, Hyun Bin, 39, and Son Ye-jin, who turned 40 last Jan. 11, announced that they are getting married in March in a private ceremony in Seoul.

Korean news outlets reported that there are rumors that Son Ye-jin is pregnant, which was immediately denied.

According to a close associate of the two stars, they made plans to get married in mid-March, informed their fans and made an official announcement through the agencies.

"I think the two of them thought it was time to get married. She is not pregnant," the close associate stated.

The source said Son Ye-jin recently finished filming ahead of the airing of the first episode of the JTBC-Netflix drama “Thirty-Nine” on Feb. 16.

"Hyun Bin thought it is time for her to spend her newlywed life leisurely because she's about to shoot the movie 'Harbin' in the second half of this year."

The close associate added that Hyun Bin will start shooting the movie “Harbin” in the second half of the year and he thought of spending their newlywed life comfortably.

Last month, Korean drama “One the Woman” star Lee Ha-nee announced that she was four months pregnant, just less than a month after she got married last Dec. 21. She did not announce her pregnancy before her wedding.

Actress Park Shin-hye and actor Choi Tae-joon got married last Jan. 22. Before this, Park Shin-hye announced on Nov. 23 last year that she was getting married and that she was pregnant.

Following the announcement of the marriage, Son Ye-jin’s celebrity friends congratulated her. Among them are actress Lee Min-jung (wife of actor Lee Byung-hun), actress Song Yoon-ah (wife of actor Sol Kyung-gu), actress and singer Lee Jung-hyun, and actress Oh Yoon-ah.

The Embassy of Switzerland in Korea also congratulated Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin.

“Congratulations Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin for your wedding announcement!” and added, “In case you are looking for a venue.” Part of “Crash Landing on You” was filmed in Switzerland.

After starring in "Crash Landing on You," Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin admitted that they were in a relationship on Jan. 1, 2021 after a Korean media outlet published photos of them together.
