Netizens laud Angelica Panganiban for new video against 'scammers'
By Neil Ramos
Angelica Panganiban is being applauded by many for using her popularity in a good way.
That is, educating voters in a funny, engaging manner in collaboration with Young Public Servants (YPS).
Several days ago, the actress trended on social media appearing in a video spewing hugot lines in an effort to dissuade voters from supporting corrupt politicians.
"Huwag magpapabudol, huwag sa magnanakaw," she quipped.
Now, she is doing more of the same, targeting "scammers."
"Mga sinungaling kasi naglipana,,, pandemya na nga nakuha pang mangbudol ng kapwa," she intoned.
According to Angelica she has since learned not to trust these cheaters so easily.
"One strike, one rule lang talaga ako...wala ako sa mga second chance, second chance," she maintained. "'Pag may history ng pambubudol never again, never forget tayo."
Just to drive her point further, she added, "Iwasan natin 'yung mga nangangako ng gold, mambubudol 'yan...'wag na tayo magpauto at por Diyos, por santo 'wag na tayong bomoto ng magnanakaw!"
So far, the video has already received 20,000 likes.
Some of the comments:
"Agree!"
"Nice one, Angelica!"
"For sure agad-agad may mangongopya. Mga magnanakaw!!"
"Yung galit, tinamaan!!"
